Overview
- Complete full-duplex modem hardware from RF to network interface
- Anodized aluminum enclosure: Size: 168.5 x 139 x 41mm
- Custom radio-frequency bands within 400 MHz– 3GHz at no extra charge. To be specified at the time of order
- Independently tunable low-phase noise RF frequency synthesizers for transmit and receive.
- Large digital signal processing capabilities:
- Large 7-series Xilinx FPGA (XC7A100T-1) FPGA for massive parallel computing
- ARM 32-bit co-processor @120MHz (LPC1759) for complementary sequential computing
- A/D converter (IF undersampling): 12-bit, 170 MSamples/s
- Dual D/A converters: 14-bit, 175 MSamples/s
- Two Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45s tied to FPGA for maximum throughput
- 1Gbit NAND flash for non-volatile storage of numerous FPGA configurations and user data
- 1Gbit DDR3 SDRAM
- Hi-stability frequency reference: internal VC-TCXO or external 10 MHz frequency reference
- Supply voltage: 18–36VDC with reverse voltage and surge protection
- The COM-1900 is compatible with a comprehensive development environment of free industry-standard tools:
- Xilinx Vivado for development from VHDL or Verilog source code to FPGA binary [from Xilinx]
- Eclipse IDE + GNU ARM tool chain + flashmagic from C/C++ source code to ARM binary
- ComBlock flashloader to program the FPGA and ARM binaries into the board non-volatile flash memory over USB. [included]
- 4 custom FPGA configurations can be stored in non-volatile flash memory
- The selected configuration is automatically reloaded at power up or upon software command
- Graphical User Interface is used for remote monitoring and control over a USB or TCP link. This includes loading the FPGA configuration file into non-volatile flash memory
