COM-1600 FPGA / ARM development platform
This module combines several essential components for implementing advanced DSP algorithms:
- Xilinx Spartan-6 LX16 FPGA for massively parallel high-speed processing
- 1Gbit DDR2 Memory to complement the limited FPGA memory
- 120 MHz ARM Cortex M3 32-bit processor for intelligent sequential processing
- 1Gbit NAND Flash for large non-volatile storage, including several FPGA configurations
- USB 2.0 interface
The COM-1600 is interface compatible with the COM-2802 synchronized 8-channel 900 MSamples/s digital-to-analog conversion.

COM-5401 Quad 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet Adapter.
This high-speed ethernet adapter essentially comprises four tri-mode (10/100/1000 Mbps) PHYs. It is interface-compatible with the COM-1600 FPGA/ARM development platform which is large enough to instantiate multiple software MACs and IP stacks.
Ready-to-use VHDL components are also available to implement the various Ethernet protocols:
